About

I'm Madalena Velloso, a Portuguese freshly graduated graphic design student at IADE faculty in Lisbon. With a background in fine arts and a curious mind that rarely sits still, I'm always exploring across mediums, disciplines, and ideas. I'm drawn to the creative process in all its forms, and I see design as a space where thinking, making, and experimenting constantly come together.

I began my path at Escola Artística António Arroio, which gave me a strong foundation in visual arts. Later, during an Erasmus semester in Milan, I discovered not only a new city but also a new level of creative independence and confidence. What drives me most is learning, not just within design but far beyond it. I'm inspired by conversation, especially the kind that stays with you after it ends. Many of my professors have shaped how I think, ask questions, and approach the work with more intention.
